when lies are told the truth unfolds

heart-in-a-jar-wallpaper

This poem is dedicated to all those who are unjustly silenced. Know that all things pass. Our day will come. Our hearts will be free. Our voices will be heard. It’s just a matter of time. When lies are told, the truth unfolds. Always.

hearts in jars

by punkie

some time ago
fine lies were told
they crush me to this day.

your prison bars
put hearts in jars
dead silent I must stay.

grave harm is done
to more than one
our scars will never fade.

yet time re-molds
what truth unfolds
greed’s debts will be repaid.
